Dr. Shannon Ruse

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Shannon Ruse is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a passion for evidence-based, integrative medicine and has special interests in women’s and skin health. She works with patients to address underlying reasons for their health concerns, and to support, educate and empower them in reaching their health goals. She emphasizes the foundations of health, including clinical nutrition, sleep, stress reduction, and movement; and often utilizes targeted supplementation, herbal medicine, lab testing and acupuncture in her treatment plans.

Dr. Shannon graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences, with minors in psychology, biology and chemistry. She then went onto complete her Doctor of Naturopathy degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, where she gained clinical experience on the highly competitive integrative oncology shift at the Integrative Cancer Centre.

Beyond her practice, Dr. Shannon spends her free time doing hot yoga, cycling, running, reading and exploring new restaurants with family and friends.
