While Shockwave Therapy may cause some mild discomfort during the treatment, most patients find it to be tolerable. The intensity of the treatment can be adjusted to ensure you are comfortable. Any soreness after treatment is usually mild and temporary.
The number of sessions required varies depending on the condition being treated and its severity. Typically, 3-5 sessions are recommended, spaced one week apart. Your treatment plan will be customized based on your progress.
Shockwave Therapy is effective for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those involving tendons, muscles, and joints. It is ideal for chronic injuries and conditions that haven’t responded well to traditional treatments.
Many patients experience pain relief after just one or two sessions, though full benefits may take several weeks as the healing process progresses. Results can vary based on the severity of the condition and your body’s response to the therapy.
